Kickboxing is very fun, but it's a lot of work. The guy who teaches the class would not let us stop moving, literally. Even wiping the sweat off your face, you had to be doing the little jump-steps - no standing still at all until the hour was up. Dana took the class with me, both our first time there, and we were both ready to drop dead by the end of it. I can still feel the weights in my arms. It's faded to a dull ache now, 'cause the class ended at 1, but for a while there it hurt. I'm still going to take the class whenever I can, though, because it's a really good workout.

My physical for college was at 2:15. Ergh. Needles. I hate needles. I had to get a menengitis shot, a TB test, and they had to take blood so they could do more tests. Thank god that I got my hepatitis b shot the last time I was there; three sets of pricks was more than enough >_>;; After the appointment my mom met me and dragged me to the LIRR to get a monthly pass out to Hicksville (no, I'm not kidding, before anyone asks). I'll be working at the Shoprite office there, starting July 6th, through to July 28 - then I head out to Otakon. I'm not quite sure what's going to happen after Otakon; I'll either be heading out to see Saori-chan, or I'll go back to work at Shoprite. I'm hoping desperately I'll be able to see Saori-chan.

Despite promising myself I wouldn't, last night dad and I went to see Spider-Man 2. I was convinced that the movie was going to have fallen into the traps of riding along on the fame of Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, the usage of pretty special effects, and of course, the Curse of the Sequel. Surprisingly, that didn't happen. It's actually a very well scripted, well done movie. I liked Alfred Molina as "Dr. Okt" a lot better than I liked him as Tevye, and Maguire seemed a lot more comfortable in his role as Peter this time around. Even my dad said he liked it, and had nothing to say about things he would have changed, which is really, really unusual for him.

Brilliance - sheer brilliance! Buwahahahahahaha! Just finished watching the Yankee/Red Sox game; lemme tell you that you will see a game like this once in a life-time ... or at least once every two baseball seasons. This sort of game does not happen often. I mean, bottom of the 13th inning, tied score at 4 and 4, and John Flaherty steps up to win the game with a double that bounces into the stands. Meanwhile everyone in the dugouts are hanging over the rails and everyone in the stands are stading on their seats. Gotta love it!

I feel bad for Jeter, though. The poor man ended the 12th inning with a spectacular catch - and wound up flipping face first into the stands. He came out bleeding from under his right eye and his chin - they wouldn't let him finish the game. He was watching from the training room when they won, though, or so the announcers said. He'll be back in no time, he always is ::nods::
