Fahrenheit 9/11
Jul. 1st, 2004 11:41 pmIt should be considered a crime for anyone in this country to not see this movie. It's full of terrifying and morbidly fascinating footage, interesting connections between one Mr. George W. Bush and a whole slew of elite memebers of society, and some confessions that serve to unsettle (such as the confession of one of the members of Congress that they almost never read the bills they pass). My favorite fact of the movie: of the first 8 months in office, Bush spent 42% of his time on vacation. As if I didn't already think he was a weak-minded fucker.
In other news, my voting registration acknowledgement and my course registration package from Lawrence Uni came today. Gods above, there's so much crap in it; all of which I have to read to plan out my class schedule properly. As for voting, there is an absentee democratic ballot with my name on it as soon as the polls come around. I'm leaving the bloody bible of Lawrence for as long as possible >_<
We're leaving tomorrow for Pittsfield. We'll be back Sunday night, though, so I'm not sure exactly what the point of us going is. We haven't been up there in a long time, so I guess this is as good a time as any.
