Brilliance - sheer brilliance! Buwahahahahahaha! Just finished watching the Yankee/Red Sox game; lemme tell you that you will see a game like this once in a life-time ... or at least once every two baseball seasons. This sort of game does not happen often. I mean, bottom of the 13th inning, tied score at 4 and 4, and John Flaherty steps up to win the game with a double that bounces into the stands. Meanwhile everyone in the dugouts are hanging over the rails and everyone in the stands are stading on their seats. Gotta love it!
I feel bad for Jeter, though. The poor man ended the 12th inning with a spectacular catch - and wound up flipping face first into the stands. He came out bleeding from under his right eye and his chin - they wouldn't let him finish the game. He was watching from the training room when they won, though, or so the announcers said. He'll be back in no time, he always is ::nods::
