Now, we were supposed to go to my grandmother's for dinner last night. Did this happen? No. Because my father must be the only man who would work all day and a lot of the night on a Saturday. Stupid lawyer-ly duties. Well, it did open today for a lot of baking, and a lot of baking was indeed done. I feel quite accomplished.

The menu for tea tomorrow is complete:

cucumber sandwiches with mint butter
scones with a feasable replication of Devonshire cream
red velvet cake
chocolate covered strawberries
and of course, tea - three kinds to choose from

All I need now is to prepare the table; which can fairly easily be done tomorrow morning.
