odin_za_vseh, _schneewittchen, and their friend will be coming over for our turning-bi-annual tea party. I'm quite excited to meet him. It's a lesser fare than I've done at other ones; mostly because I did the baking yesterday and this morning. Here's hoping it's satisfactory.
Also, it would be quite good if the weather holds and stays dry.
それで, このにっきで[装いを新たにする]の時だそう思う.
In completely unrelated news, I'm thinking it's about time to give the ol' journal a new layout or something. Not sure how long I've had this one. Maybe I'll just go for a new header.

And indeed the weather held, although it was too hot to go out anyway. Inside with the air conditioning was much better. The weather now is really perfect, though.
Tea went quite well, I think: the scones and sandwiches were tasty. Nobody gagged on them, anyway. Lawrence is a delightful person. And as happens almost always, we wound up at East for dinner. This time my favorite sushi chef was there, and I got to speak a tiny bit of Japanese with him. I ordered in Japanese, at least.
