Ain't life grand sometimes? After travelling for nearly half the day to reach home, the first thing I am greeted with is the Bad News that my grandmother died at 4 in the morning. Oh, we all knew it was coming, but for her to die on the same day that I come back to start vacation -- hell, for her to die period -- comes as a sucker punch. I never wanted to think about the possibility, so I never did. It's worse because I'd been thinking about the old house and just thinking about her lately, and was never really sure why. I had been going to ask mom if we could see her again this vacation, too, which is the ultimate kicker. The funeral is on Sunday. Of all reasons to get a limo, we've got one to go to the funeral in. Heh. Go figure.

Sadly I'm sure it will, I know I was a mess after my grandma passed away.
