My parents just left, but not before taking me out to breakfast at this place called The Machine Shed. It's a local restaurant that serves old-style farmish food - it's really good. Last night they took me to Katsu-ya, the local Japanese habachi restaurant; this fills my quota of real food until Thanksgiving - it's back to Downer Commons now. They also took me shopping for nearly all of Saturday, so now my dorm room is full of stuff - and I got a rice cooker! Now I don't have to use the micro-wave all the time and have the water spill over. ::is uber-happy::

Last night Yamagata-sensei finally showed Moon Child. Me, Elaine, Dante, and our parents were all there XD My parents still don't know quite what to think of the movie - they were very confused and I spent most of breakfast explaining it to them. It was fun. After the movie we went to see Alexandra McHale, a comedian who does college tours. She was absolutely hilarious, and extremely good with improv. Half-way through the show, a girl hit the light switch and turned all the coffeehouse lights on, which was not supposed to happen. McHale went along with it, laughing at the guy who was trying to turn the lights off (apparently he kept getting shocked) - he had to tape the switch down to get the lights to stay off. One of the best stories that she told us was the undercover nun story. Yeah, good times :D
