It makes me sad when the best retort a Red Sox fan can come up with is "U sux, I hate u all". There's no fun in arguing with an idiot XP

Working on the campus computers is a bit nerve-wracking. I always have to be sure that I've logged off, 'cause there are a bunch of homophobes and God forbid they should see my searches for yaoi ::rolls eyes:: I'm also beginning to wish that I had a roommate other than Kristin. I'm glad that we don't really see each other apart from just before bed and early in the morning before classes.

I went and bought all my books today, finally. Goddamn they cost a lot of money. Thank God for the buy-back period at the end of the year.

My final class list follows thusly:
Japanese I - Monday through Friday.
Costume construction - (taught by a professional designer!) Tuesday and Thursday.
Freshman studies - Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Chorale - whenever rehearsals happen to be.

And my extra stuff:
Swing dance - all official dances are on Fridays from 23:00 to 00:00
Crew club - meets everyday from 4:30 to 6:00; the first meeting is tomorrow at 8:00 to go over the basics for us newbies
Fencing - the schedule has yet to be e-mailed to me

*rolls eyes* Call me an elitist schmuck, but I find the homophobic indoctrination which goes on in conventional society to be an utter drag. Given that U.S. is considered to be a breeding ground of liberal groups and "forward-thinking" people... Oh wait, no... no I was thinking of Canada. My bad. ^_~

As to the roommate, she's just not the sort of person I'd ever want to hang out with. She's already brought in her friends for sleepovers - once it was two of them, once it was just one - and walking into the room when she's got her friends in there feels like I'm walking into someone else's room uninvited. All eyes are immediately trained on me and I'm like, "Uh ... hi?" and quickly leave before it gets really awkward. I've been hiding out in my friend's rooms and the basement computer lab a lot.

Not all of them. I decided to drop rowing crew - there's $60 to pay in dues and practices conflict with my chorale and possible theater employment, so I'll do that next year.

oh that makes sense. i thought you were dropping ti because there wasn't enough people in it or something. call me crazy but i had this strange idea that not alot of people are travelling on your campus or are in your classes.
