♠Followed my desires and did some baking. Honey and ginger cake (made on Sunday) and lemon cookies (made today). Next up will probably be scones. Or I will be going out and getting chocolate to make that molten cake. Maybe tomorrow.

♠There's a group that gives English Country Dancing lessons that I never knew existed. Beginners class starts at 7 so I'm thinking it's time to start a slow walk to Washington Square Park, find some dinner and see what it's all about. It'll give me something to do with myself through all the nothing that's been happening.

♠Kuroneko wants me to pay Mizuho Ginko for moving my things. Sure, Kuroneko, because the streets are just full of Japanese banks around here. And, you know, because your customers can only pay once everything has gone through and been charged at customs here in the US. Yes.

Dancing sounds like fun! There was a place that did Irish step around here but I never did get to do it. :/ I'm too jiggly now to actually do it with out looking like a jiggly lump.

WTF Kuroneko. I was still a little miffed it took my bags 2 days to get to Fukuoka when it only took 1 to Kyoto. I understand its farther but NOT BY THAT MUCH BY TRAIN. :

It was so very much fun. Like Jane-Austin-movie dances but for normal people. It's dancing I can do with little problem - if I go to a couple more of the beginner classes I'll probably be at total ease.

It can be, particularly making sure the egg-to-flour ratio is just right, which changes depending on what kind of eggs you have on hand. Also the baking time and making sure you don't handle the dough too much - how much you need changes with every batch.

That sounds a bit over my head baking-skills wise. I'm lucky if I can keep a pie crust from breaking. Not that challenges can't be fun XD

I might have to dig up my lemon bars recipe now though, I'm craving lemon because of this. x.x
