I've gone and made myself a shiny, classy wordpress blog for the chronicling of my Japan adventures - though we all know what it will wind up being is a lot of random pictures, and maybe a few lines of no consequence. (Which will all probably be reposted here, so not bookmarking the blog is cool.

It's only going on wordpress because my parents want something to see, and well. Parents poking around lj? Not something I'd prefer. Also wordpress makes everything look better than it is 8D

I'm also making a little progress in the actual beginning of chronicling - I've gotten all the pictures to date off my camera and onto my computer. Now I should get around to uploading them and then the posting can begin.

I am super tired.

Also this weekend I will go to Tokyo. Even if I have to go by myself. I just can't hang out in Maebashi for another weekend :/

YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Let's go now 8D! Except not. We should probably meet somewhere along the train lines, 'cause somewhere in Tokyo's probably not the best place. We can meet up with maiaide and bring the internet closer to reality :)

Ummmmm.　It looks like Ohmiya is the first station we would have in common, and it's where we'd probably have to make a connection anyway. (Where exactly in Tokyo were you thinking?)

It looks like your ride is about 40 minutes shorter than mine, but I suppose that's because I have to transfer more? So please keep that in mind when I ask you, what time did you want to go? (Not counting the bus ride; it's twenty minutes, right?) I can figure what time we should take the train to meet up from there.

Ohmiya it is, then XD I'll take that 7:40 bus to the station and get on the first train so we can get a full day in. (I really have no idea where I want to go. Maybe Ueno Park? I just want to see the city.) I guess that means about 8:20 for me?

I don't think maiaide is in Tokyo, so we'd probably have to coordinate with her, too.

Wait, the bus takes 40 minutes? There's an 8:12 and an 8:33　shinkansen from Takasaki, getting to Ohmiya at 8:46 and 9:06 respectively. I can make either of those from Ujiie, so. And then the trains from Ohmiya run, like, once every five minutes, so no worries there.

Oh, I went back and reread it. Got it. (I thought it was weird the bus would take you to Takasaki.)　　The 8:20 train from Maebashi via Takasaki gets you to Ohmiya at 9:10. Okay.

Cool 8D And yeah, I really can't spend money. Period *sigh* I have a ton of traveler's checks and no way to get them cashed ;o; I have no idea what we're going to do, actually. I guess maybe Ueno Park?

It looks like capncosmo and I are going to be meeting each other in Ohmiya at 9:10, though from there I don't know the exact details because we'll have to find each other first >.>;;

I'll call you once we get there and have found each other and know what train from Ohmiya we'll be on.

Cool, cool. Sounds good. Ueno's good for eating... and that's about it. XD And karaoke of course, but you can find that all over. The park will be nice but the sakura will be gone. But that means it won't be stupidly busy either. Ueno is good for me; it's not so far/expensive to get to. :)

It takes 30 mins from Omiya on the Takasaki line to Ueno station. Do you know if you're going to come tomorrow or Sunday? If you go out of the central gate of Ueno station, there's a sign post right in the centre of the atrium. It's a good central (aha) location for meeting people. Of course you can always give me a ring if you get disoriented.
