It appears it is now my lot in life to wake at 8 every morning to the delightful sounds of drilling and sawing into bricks. Lovely.

I have to get up at or before 8 every day during the week and my bedtime has been SEVERELY compromised to an ungodly hour of 10 or 11 at the latest. Staying up later than that is just too much for me.
