'Cause you all know you wanna know what my year was like.

1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Otakon & cosplay, made my first bunch of clothes ... and probably some other stuff that I can't remember.

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I always make up resolutions, just so I won't keep them, 'cause I never do. See my post tomorrow for the new resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What countries did you visit?
I haven't gone out of the country at all this year, which sucks to fuckin' hell.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
A tattoo, more piercings, and a job.

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Um, how about I'll be really cheesy and say 12/23/03, 'cause that was the first time I saw Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making my first skirt? Surviving the run of Les Miz at my school?

9. What was your biggest failure?
... Can't say that I had any huge failures in comparison to other years.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Suffered from my cousin's cold, which lasted much longer than I would have liked and had my parents threatening to send me to a doctor. Injuries ... well, I keep getting tiny little cuts and bruises, but I have no idea where they come from or how I get them.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Gorgeous fabric that looks exactly like that of Arwen's "Rose Dress" (which doesn't appear in any of the movies), the Gothic & Lolita hand book, and Macabre.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Piccalo.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
You don't want me to answer that.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, probably. Maybe CDs and movies.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The last show of Les Miz, seeing Jax for the first time all year, and Chanukkah.

16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
Anything by TMR, 'cause the most drama of the year occured after a TMR concert.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? sadder
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner - I've definitely stopped eating as much
iii. richer or poorer? about the same

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Studying in school and work. I need money.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
There's probably a lot of things that I *should* have done less of, but none that I *wish* having done less of.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Try Chanukkah, and maybe I'll give you an answer.

22. Did you fall in love in 2003?
*snort* yeah, right. Me in love. That'll be the day.

23. How many one-night stands?
Thanks, no. Virgin.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
24. Heh, whaddya know. 24 at question 24.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate people, only their actions.

26. What was the best book you read?
The Mists of Avalon.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Miyavi, Kagrra, Silver Ash, and Psycho le Cemu.

28. What did you want and got?
A sewing machine.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Pirates of the Caribbean, Return of the King, and Master and Commander. (Can you tell I liked PotC and RotK better?)

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I shared a party with a friend whose birthday is very close to mine, and we went bowling with a bunch of friends. I turned 17.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting to Japan to see Saori. Now I have to wait until summer of '04.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Elegant Gothic Aristocrat/punkish. Lots more lace-y/frilly things than in previous years, and this was the first year I actually partook in back to school shopping.

34. What kept you sane?
Piccalo, the Twins, Lis & Olga, Mr. Paul, and Dir en grey (Who needs insanity when you've got an angry, short, Japanese man to do it for you? Not to mention he wears very little clothing sometimes and is decidedly hot.)

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Shinya Terachi wins the Androgynous-Japanese-Male while Kaoru Nikkura wins the All-Around-Sexy-Japanese-Male; Liv Tyler and Cate Blanchette tie in the Sexy Women; Dominic Monaghan wins for Sexiest-British-Male; Elijah Wood wins for Cutest-American-Short-One.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The stir over gay marriage - fcuk Bush and his homophobic administration.

37. Who did you miss?
Saori.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
New person, heh? How about horror_scope, and strawberrysmile

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
Sometimes if you say you're 21, the waitress will bring the wine and not ask questions.

Ah... 2003. A year that probably won't go down that much in history... I did some pretty stupid things that year and I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for my irrational behavior towards you and the others. Especially over that glove situation. Indeed I went towards the situation and in the end I said things that pretty much was out of anger, thus influencing my actions. So in the dawn of the new year. I wish for us to be friends... even if it seemed that we wasn't. Happy New Year.

I think we all handled ourselves kind of childishly about that. I hope that there was no side damage in any way, shape, or form. I am sorry the one got stolen. I've got the other one, if you ever want it back. And Happy New Year.
