Okay, so the Gestapo have officially moved to Union Square. Because protests are quite commonly started there, there are now police on motor bikes lined up along the perimiter of the park. Seriously, it's fucking scary. My dad and I came out of the train station - I was expecting them to ask to see our papers or something. Thank you fucking RNC. Honestly, could they have the decency to pick a place that wasn't New York? Noooooo, they could not have such decency. And I hope one of them sees this, just so they know that there's one little girl out there who wants them to be gone and never come back. (::snort:: Like they'd care.)

Gods ... I'm leaving on the 11th. That's one week and two days. I have one week and two days left in the City before I leave to become a Cheesehead. Now I'm officially starting to get nervous. I've been shopping and everything for the last week to get stuff for college. I've gotten an almost entirely new and complete bedroom set; sheets, pillow cases, throw pillows, comforter, photo album; and enough containers to store everything in my room and then some. Mom even dragged me to get a new, wheeled duffel bag, insisting that the un-wheeled one that we have is not good. Dad dragged me to get sneakers today, and my grandma bought me three winter coats, even though we've told her I've got a new one. Gah. So much effort goes into this ... I never understood that until now. Especially since most of my friends are still in the five boroughs.

I'm gonna miss everyone. I don't have nearly enough pictures of my friends, either. And I'm going to miss Piccolo's birthday!!! I haven't missed her birthday since we met. (Oi, Piccolo ... you are coming on Saturday, right? I got you an early present.)

Oh, J&R's international music selection sucks majorly. They have nothing from Taiwan.
