(no subject)

Work has been its usual self. It's making me money, but it's getting damn boring - I do the same filing pretty much every day. The slightly funny part is that now I'm getting extra days off because I work a lot quicker than they expected me to, and they're running out of work for me to do. So I will milk this for all it's worth - I was only going to stay until next Monday, really, and that was only because of the fact that the monthly pass on the LIRR is fragging expensive.

Anyway, today mom and I went on the first of many college shopping trips. This one was to Bed, Bath & Beyond, because I need extra-long twin sheets, which we didn't have, and a comforter that would actually keep me warm in the Wisconsin winter - which it is very likely the one I use here would not have done. So I am now the proud owner of a gray, fuzzy, warm comforter, two black silky throw pillows, cotton sheets (apparently made with Egyptian cotton, if the lable tells the truth), two new fluffy towels and a washcloth made of the same material as the towels, shower flip-flops, a new desk lamp, and a new photo album.

Oh, and issue #6 of Hairo no Ginka, which I ordered last week sometime, came today. It's so small - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" - but full of pictury goodness ^_^ Now if only I could read it all ... ah, an excuse to pick up my kanji dictionary again ^______^
