Who is Betemit and why is he playing for Phillips?

People who talk on their phones during games need to be killed with fire. I don't care when you got your nails done or what client you're meeting with.

People who don't pay attention to the games and talk (read: [Alex at bat] "Yay, Derek! Hit us one!"; [Cano gets the ball, flips to first] "Derek got him out!"; [person at bat, big ass screen in center field showing their face and number] "Who's batting?" or best of all [Alex goes out with others for their stretches] "Who's that guy with the long socks? Is he a coach? Must be a coach.") need to be killed with fire.

Imagine, if you will, the following starting rotation: Wang, Hughes, Chamberlain, Pettitte, Moose - not necessarily in that order - and tell me you don't look forward to it just a little.

Bradford, if you hit Melky again, I will find and break you. Well ... hit you, anyway.

All you wankers out there saying Melky needed to be traded? Yeah. Say it now. I dare you.

*laughs* purplecargirl already covered my Betemit thoughts perfectly. So I'll just add..grrr.

Two acceptable reasons for using a phone during a game:

1. Medical emergency
2. You just caught a homerun

*laughs* Oh man, the groupies who totally don't know anything about the team except that Derek and Alex are good-looking grate on my last nerve. Last time I was at the Stadium, I was plagued by a guy who brought his baseball-clueless girlfriend. Luckily, they decided to leave halfway through. Ick.

Many people out there are eating crow on Melky right now. I love it ^_^

Grrr indeed. I roll my eyes when he comes to the plate because errrrg. Just errrg.

Yeah, really. Especially when the guy in front of you keeps calling Wang 'Cheen' while complaining about him.

The really sad part is that these were older people. Like, probably mid-thirties people. How do continue to be a groupie at thirty? And they kept it up through the whole game.
