I have just been told by two teachers, one mine and the other not, that I am one of the more intelligent, dedicated, and all around cools students in my school. Learn from this my disiples: sucking up isn't always a bad thing. And you don't even really have to suck up to gain favor with a teacher. Just some respect and a few homeworks handed in on time can go a long way. And if you've got ambitions that cannot be fulfilled with a full-time job at McDonald's . . . let's just say it never hurts to have a teacher at your back.
My tech teacher said that there were courses open to us at Cooper Union if we were interested. We have to apply and be accepted, however. I knew there was a catch, always is -_-;; I'm going to try anyway. They'll be worth it in the long run if I do get in. Apparently there's also a tap class available during 6th period in school that open for us tekkies. *That* I'm looking forward to. I lurve tap dancin' =^-^=
Duo crashed at my place after school. She's got kendo practice three days a week in the City, and she lives in Brooklyn, so it didn't make sense for her to go back home. Besides, she uses the same textbooks as me, so she could do her homework here while we chilled. She now hates me because I've got the Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring soundtracks and she don't >=D
Oh, and I am now officially a boot-leg art major. I walk around with a sketch book, a Bristol pad, paint brushes, Tempra paint, a pallet, and vine charcol. Amazing how alike the artists and tekkies are, ne? =^-^=
