Happy Turkey Day

Okay, so maybe it was yesterday - I didn't have time to update, 'cause I was at my cousin's house (all freakin' day) and they're on a wireless network. Worse, the line in the hotel room didn't work. We had to call in maintainence to get it started up >_<;; Dinner last night was good though. My cousin Josh did most of the cooking - dad made his usual mashed potatoes, and grandma made the salad as per usual, though - and he's really good at it. My cousin Eddie is back from Iraq (he was there for five/six months as a navy medic); It was *really* good to see him in one piece. It was really surreal, though, 'cause he and mom were talking about the veterans benefits he's elligible for now - which was not something I'd ever expected them to talk about.

The plane ride to Cali was really long. I wound up making, like, five icons (all Deg) on the plane while watching Queer Eye, and then another five (of Kagrra) once we got to the hotel. As usual, I'm the one on the couch bed >-<;; Best part of everything is, however, Japan Town. I shall be going there tomorrow to shop and see the Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park. I am duly excited =^-^=
