This has been an wonderfully satisfying weekend. Friday night I got my D&D druid Xanian in a situation that will likely see him fucked seven ways from Sunday.

Saturday I saw both Fantastic Four (for the first time) and the BRAND NEW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It was like seeing my childhood parading before my eyes. TMNT was a series made for awesome CGI - and this movie did not disappoint. At all. Even the soundtrack is awesome.

Today I got to watch Bloody Mallory, a French flick about a demon-possessed pope, and a team of demon hunters. It's so incredibly awful it's so incredibly good. Also watched the first of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies - and ah, geeking out to that was just lovely.

I have also seen the first two episodes of the new Series of Doctor Who, and I am absolutely loving it. Martha is everything I'd hoped she'd be, and each episode that goes by brings me an episode closer to the return of Jack Harkness.

Now if only the Yankees broadcasted out here, I'd be good. Really, really good. Brilliant, actually.

Heh heh, RPG situations which leave one with that freshly ass-raped feeling. Though admittedly can be attributed to player stupidity. Exibit A:
"You see a Gazebo on the top of a hill."
"I attack it!"
"It's a Gazebo."
"I don't care, I attack it anyway!"
"... It's a Gazebo."
"I still attack it!"
"... Fine." [Dice rolls] "The Gazebo rips itself from its bedrock foundations, rolling down the hill and crushes you to death."

Oh dear, the original TMNT movies. I swear my parents probably still have them in their house somewhere on VHS. I may need to try to dig those out and watch them. I was such a huge fan. I think I even had the soundtrack for the third one on cassette tape(!!), *lol!* I've heard nothing but good about the new TMNT, but I haven't brought myself to go see it yet. Might have to though.

Get thee MLB.tv! Unless it's too pricey, of course :) I've got the $14.95 a month version, and it's pretty good.

Haha, oh I know we still have the VHSes. They're in my room somewhere :D You totally have to see the new one! The only complaint I had with it was that there wasn't nearly enough Donnie and Mikey stuff.

Alas, MLB.tv doesn't work. The campus connection doesn't allow the video to keep pace with the audio, and the whole thing just sort of shuts down on itself. It's incredibly sad ;_;
