Hey! I got this one right!

So I'm incredibly lucky to be home right now; the wind is so bad that apparently flights are delayed two hours because of it. As it was we had to sit for an extra half an hour in the plane circling last night so we could land safely - that was not fun to think about. At least I had my book with me.
I've also finished my last paper, so I'm scott-free for the holidays. Also my MLB Bloopers DVD came in last night, so of course I had to watch it immediately. IT'S HILARIOUS. First segment? MLBers getting lost on their way to the ballpark. One of the people lost? Alex Rodriguez. I about died laughing. Derek Jeter also has his own special segment: Captain Cliche With a Few Gems. It's a long montage of him spouting all of his patent reporter-answers and then finally saying "It's like that movie Space Jam where they lose their powers? We're playing like that" in all seriousness. It's fantastic.
Omi is pleased.

I didn't even think about the wind affecting your flight! I'm glad you made it home safely.
Isn't that Bloopers DVD fun? I still haven't sent it back to Netflix! It's just chilling in the DVD player for me to kick up whenever I get the urge. Lost Alex is adorable!

Yeah, it was kinda eechy up there for a while. But I'm glad to be down on the ground again.
It's wonderful. I love the handshake part - I just wish Robbie and Melky were on there, because that'd be awesome. Lost Alex is awesome. "What street am I on? Do I turn here?" I really like the guy who's standing in the park asking people for their maps, though. That was great.

I don't blame you at all. One of the times I was flying back up here, we had to circle a bit, and it's one of those smaller planes. So they were saying, if we had to circle another ten minutes they'd have to land us in Pennsylvania, probably :0 How am I supposed to get home from PA, *lol!* Planes are stupid.
Me too!! I was telling
"I don't want to get lost doing this interview. I'd be a very bad host. *smile*" I melted quite a bit ;)
He was in DC, *lol!* Which made it even better. We went to a Nationals game last year (the one where Zimmerman broke Wang's heart, as

Yeah, planes are stupid. Especially trying to take off in them. It just sits on the runway and goes "Durrrrr ... whaaa? OH! I fly! Right."
Yes! The handshakes are wonderful! I like Jeter's smack-the-neck-scream thing and *lol!* Matsui and Mr. T bowing to each other is fantastic! Melky and Robbie have one of the more intricate handshakes; they'll definitely be in the next one or something's wrong with the people who make it. Robbie with no pants would certainly be a pleasant bonus.
Yeah, me too :D He's so cute!
I've been to DC twice with my family, and both times we've never ventured past about four blocks from our hotel except to visit the monuments. It's a scary, scary place.

and wanting to do X-rated things to him, but just apply that to Scott and Kyle and it works ;)I hate that. I understand they're going to have back-ups and delays on the runway, but don't you hate hearing from the pilot that you're, like, 30th in line to take off? Grr.
Who was Jeter doing that with?? I was going nuts trying to figure it out! I loved the Godzilla/Torre bow thing too. And Dusty Baker was funny talking about those crazy kids and their handshakes ;)
*lol!* Most of it isn't if you're around all the monuments and museums and things! I love the heart of DC. It's beautiful, especially in the spring when the cherry blossoms are blooming. But I think the ballpark is up past Union Station and the capital building, and once you get back there it turns into no man's land ;)
Now, DRIVING in DC is another matter. I can't even get a sense of direction in New York. DC, the roads are all circles and looping and the complete opposite of a grid. Makes no sense whatsoever :p

I have no idea who Jeter is shaking with! I really want to know! T_T I also really want to know which Yankee that was doing the bubblegum trick. Godzilla/Torre bowshake is love.
I like the monumentsa and the basin, but you couldn't catch me dead driving in DC. Ooooooh no.
Happy Birthday Moose
