Ah, it seems like only yesterday I was stepping off the plane in LaGuardia after spring term finals. And here I sit, ready to board a plane in but a day and a few hours and return to school.

And I'm missing two of the four-game Yankees vs. Red Sox series for it, too.

Time flies, no? Actually, it sort of drraaaags until two weeks before school, and then it goes so fast you sort of lose entire days into the annals of history. That happened to me last week. I can't figure out where Wednesday went.

The summer does indeed drag then disappear. Actually, it started disappearing right after I got your letter on the sixth. By the by, will you have your car at school? I'm going to need help dragging my stuff to Trever.

You're probably not missing more than a satisfying Yankee-on-Sox (Sock? Would it be singular?) beating. Besides, soon you'll be back in the beartrap of our warm, tender company.

Actually, considering the 10 and a half game lead (which had been 11 and a half until the loss incurred this afternoon), it's really not a "big deal" as baseball goes. What has me is that the Yankees clinch the division in three games if they beat Boston three times. And yes, I believe it's Yankee-on-Sox.

I am looking forward to seeing you all, that's true.

Thanks - I'm sure I will, but I'm sure it'll take a strip search for it. All bottled drinks have to have the caps off, even if bought at the airport, making it very inconvenient. Ah well. I'm just hoping for no delays.
