Intriguing in a very not interesting sort of way.

Yesterday 'nee-chan and I went to the Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, New York. It's a lovely all-day affair that includes many people dressed in costume and the buying of pickles in dirty ways. (IE: "A thick, juicy pickle, please" "Ah, size matters for the Lady! Well I've a large pickle for you"). All of this in affected accents, of course. And naturally the first thing to do is buy things far out of your price range - so I bought a katana. A real one, made of folded steel, that flexes over 60 degrees. It's gorgeous and it will take the place of any husband or first born child I might have had.

Now I must name it.

Well, I've called my katana "Mr. Cutty" and my gutting knife "Miss Stabby". *shrugs* But it probably won't work the same way for you.

No, names don't work like that for me. They have to be all special and whatnot. I'll have to actually think about this as well, because I don't want to wind up naming it "blade".

In comparison to the frequency of which they occur in the U.S.A., ren fairs don't occur often over here.

Well, you could think of up something like "Slices through teeenyboppers" or "Dices through red tape and bureaucrats/officials" and then translate it into another language.
