I know how to knit now! lawrencesinger is teh excellent teacher - she explained everything simply and made it a lot easier than I remember my grandmother's friend attempting to explain it. (It was also excellent to sit and watch Princess Bride and Robinhood: Men in Tights with her.) Although, the fact that I was 8 when that happened probably had something to do with it - I wasn't interested at all. But anyway, now I can make myself the Ravenclaw scarf I've always wanted - and I've got the right colors for it 8D
