As much as I love my Japanese teacher, I am convinced that she's not satisfied unless we have either two quizzes and a test a week, or two tests and a quiz a week. I swear, we've had three every week since we began.

I just saw my parents ^_________^ They got here earlier than expected, around 9:30 instead of 10:30, but they called the room and my cell when I was out and had left my cell phone there. So they went to dinner, I called them back, and they came over to see me anyway. They brought me pocky!!! And some other stuff, like skirts and shoes that I need for my chorale. ::mutter::stupidconcertdress::mutter::

Somehow the topic of my tentatively titled "Egypt comic" (which is no more than a story and some ideas right now) has come up, and my friend Elaine really really likes it. To the point where I let her read the script and she's come up with three omake ideas - never mind that the comic part of the comic doesn't exist. It's been lots of fun giggling about it - she loves the shounen-ai. (She's also my Naruto-watching partner.) Hey, Fuu-chan, do you still have the character designs for Nakia? And the first few comic pages? I don't and I'd like to show them to her.

is there a difference between the quizzes and tests?

The frequent testing/quizzes actually are meant to help you remember things in Japanese a hell of alot better. Or so the theory goes. *shrugs* I find that it works out pretty well. Generally forces students to remember more and more as they use sentences, grammatical structures, etc frequently.

o_^? Your parents brought you POCKY?! WOW! I do not know ANY parent who would do that.

At least you can take Japanese...god what I would do for the time for that. And you get pocky. ::simmer::

Quizzes are shorter than tests and focus on writing and recognition of the writing. Tests are long and focus on vocabulary and proper sentence structure when speaking. Tests also include listening comprehension.

Tests and quizzes are still a pain in the ass. I won't appreciate them until I get an A in the class ::nodnodnod::

And yes, my parents brought me pocky ^_^ They are awesome ^_____^
