(no subject)

Recently I have been working on a chemise a la reine, from a gorgeous striped voile that I bought from Pure Silks. The voile is, however, a LOT more transparent than I thought it'd be. I should probably have double lined it from the waist up, but worn over stays and an actual chemise it shouldn't be so bad. At the moment it still looks like the MUUMUU FROM HELL, only minus sleeves, (really what it probably needs is better back gathering) so I'm going to wait on pictures. We'll see in a few days. With any luck it'll be done in time for vacation - the seams on this thing are long.
