Sep. 7th, 2006 09:31 pmI attempted to update while I was in Iceland - but that didn't work. I had two total chances to get on the internet at all, and neither lasted more than ten minutes. Feh.
In the immortal words of Samwise Gamgee: Well, I'm back.
And indeed, at about nine o' clock we finally walked back into our apartment after having spent the last five days (four and a half, really) in Iceland. It was a lovely trip, which I may go into some detail about tomorrow, but for right now my body is working four hours ahead of my brain (or maybe it's the other way around - I'm really too tired to be able to tell), and I'm about to go into incoherent random sentences. For now just know that it was a lovely trip - there was no ice at all and the temperatures stayed about 50 to 60 F (that's 11 to 14 C) the whole time - but I'm really, really happy to be back in New York.
Good night all.
