Organs, Krakens and barnicle-encrusted-men, oh my!

You know you have made a good movie when I don't spend the entire thing wanting to strangle one Mr. Bloom. There were too many other things happening for me to dwell on him (he knew the Kraken was coming for his ass - tentacle rape!!! O_O). I love Pirates and I am proud to be a part (albeit a tiny one) of those who helped towards making the moive $132 million in its first weekend. All I need now is the soundtrack (probably my favorite part of the entire movie other than the waterwheel fight) and I will be set.

Also, Jonathan Pryce (you may know him better as Governor Swann) is currently on Broadway, singing the lead in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. No wonder I spent so much of the movie wondering why he sounded so familar. That man has one of the most melodious voices I've heard in a long time. Ah, love.
