Mar. 26th, 2006 12:58 pmThis week can, interestingly, be summed up in things I got rather than things I did. I'm not sure if I should be worried.

To sum the Things I Did This Spring Vacation:
Friday: Got home at 12 at night, had some pizza, went to sleep.
Saturday: Slept in. Saw Dana at Starbucks, because she was leaving later that day. Hung out for a couple of hours. Went to Ellen's house for her late birthday party. Got to see Joyce and Piccalo, whom I didn't get to see at all during winter break. Realized that I wouldn't be able to see the Twins ... again. Had to leave early. Not happy. Good cake though.
Sunday: Slept in. Did stuff. Don't remember it.
Monday: Slept in. Did stuff. Don't remember it.
Tuesday: Slept in. Called Fuu-neechan, we met after her classes for dinner, then retrieved her external hard drive and stayed up until 4 am watching The Pirates of Dark Water. Realized that this show is actually much gayer than I remember it to be - though it could be that I wasn't paying attention when it was on the air. Kind of sad that it ended after 21 episodes - they only got 8 of the 13 treasures ;_;
Wednesday: Slept in. Went to meet Grandma for lunch at Ollie's. Went to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. If ever one needs a good, classic Broadway farce - this is the show to go to. Don't bother with anything else, this is pure Broadway comedy, tied together by the barest hint of plot (which manages to make a surprising amount of sense). Came back. Did some more stuff, mostly revolving around summer job applications and Adventure Quest.
Thursday: Slept in. Went to the Good Ould High School (aka LaGuardia High School of ... Oh, no, wait, it's just LaGuardia Arts now). Went to see Mr. Mac and Mr. Lewis to force ... er recruit them as my references for summer job applications and internships at theatres. Saw that the tech program has gone all to hell and then been trod on by a heard of elephants towing steam rollers. Must now become rich and fund the fucker myself.
Friday: Slept in. Met mom at H&M for shopping. Got stuff - mostly from the men's department with the exception of a pair of pants. Went to Christies Gallery, saw Japanese armour dating back as far as the Momoyama and art dating back to the Muromachi, if I remember correctly. Also art pieces from China - there was a statuette here that dated from the Tang, and some horses that dated from the Qin. I was suitably impressed. Had lunch under Rockefeller Center, then went to Kinokuniya and bought most of the stuff listed above. Mom paid for it. I win.
Saturday: Forced out of bed at 9 to bring the cat in to the vet. Not happy. Came back, waited for Fuu-neechan to be done with work. Met after she was done, hung out in her house. Went to see her friend Matt at his job in Forbidden Planet because of his birthday. Had excellent cheesecake, bought FMA using Matt's discount because he's awesome like that. Back to her place. She made me brownies. She drew character sketches. I love her. Didn't leave until 2.
Today: Absolutely nothing of interest, other than all the time I've spent typing this thing up.
