Jul. 24th, 2004 08:17 pmGawd I'm tired. I went swing dancing last night, and didn't leave until 12:30, which was probably a bad idea. I didn't get home until 1:30ish, so I probably actually fell asleep around 2. I woke up at 6:30, and I get to wake up at 6:30 again tomorrow. Kobe is a prissy boxer, too - love him, but he's prissy. Half the time I don't think he knows what he wants; it's just an excuse to bark and whine at me to make me run around trying to please him. There was actually food at their house today, though, which was very nice.
At least I'm still getting Monday off. I'll see what I can do about my costume/s then. I'm thinking that I might bump Kami in favor of Winry. The problem is that Kami's coat is very complicated, and I really only have Monday to work on it, and then I'd still have to do his hat and all the decorative stuff. When I cosplay as him, which I will probably do next year since I'll have all of school to work on it, I want to be good at it. Winry seems a lot easier, but I need good full-body pictures of her so I know what to get/make.
There's probably a lot of other stuff I could talk about, but I've forgotten half of it and I'm still fuming over the Yankee loss tonight. They had a FIVE RUN LEAD and they blew it! They were even two runs up in the bottom of the ninth and they lost! ARGH!!! (However, I wound up watching the Yes! Network for most of the day today, and they were playing Goose's baseball biography and the 1978 showdown between the Sox and the Yanks. It was on that show that I heard one of the best lines ever, though I forgot who said it: "All you have to do to have fun with a Red Sox fan is say 'Bucky Dent' [significant pause] and then duck.")
Oh - to anyone who remembers Mase (y'know, old school Harlem World rapper); well, guess who's back. I saw his new music video while flipping through channels, complete with an appearance by Puffy (Puff Daddy? Sean Combs? P. Diddly? Sean Diddly? ... Whatever.) I missed that guy, it's good to see him again. The new song was kinda weird, though >_>;;
