Jul. 19th, 2004 03:35 pmWent to the Twin's house yesterday with Piccolo. It was suggested that we get there between 12 and 12:30, so the two of us decided to meet in the train station at 11:00, 'cause it's about an hour to their house from where I live. I left the house a litte before 11 so I could get coffee, and reached the station around 11:10; annoyingly early. Luckily Piccolo was early too, so we hopped in the next train to come and rode off, me playing The Legend of Zelda with Piccolo telling me what to do >_>;;
Upon arrival at the Twin's house, it became apparent that they weren't ready. Both stuck their heads out their bedroom door and said "Go in the dining room! We aren't awake!" while their mother laughed at them. We conversed with her and Abby for a while, and Maha came in to join us briefly, before the Twins made their appearance. After that we spent even more time talking - minus their mom and Maha - and they gave the two of us a lot of their old stuff that they didn't want to keep, but didn't want to throw away. They also gave us breakfast - Yemenite coffee, which is really sweet and really yummy, and toasted peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches. Good stuff ^_^
After that was done we went downstairs to their basement to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail, provided by myself, because they've never seen it before. Both of them decidedly adored it; particularly the masochistic monks and the Black Night. After watching the movie we danced around (or Dalaal and Piccolo danced and Boushraa and I watched them) to a mixed CD. Then we decided to use the video camera feature of my camera and make our own mini Resident Evil movie, which turned into one of the funniest filming processes ever, and actually isn't horrible considering that no one knew what they were doing. The movie Features myself and Piccolo and zombie hunters, the Twins as zombies, their cousins as random dead people, and Abby provided our lighting effects. If we had a decent camera, actually wrote out a script, and had more filming locations, we might have a movie that would be, at the very least, Internet worthy.
Piccolo came home with me after we left their house. We had Chinese food for dinner and stayed up until 2:30 talking. She was late for work today, though, because my alarm didn't go off. It probably didn't help that we tried to set it in the dark with both of us half asleep >_>;;
Now I want a Gameboy Special thingie. I wanna keep playing Zelda. It's addictive I tell you.
