(no subject)

Stupid, mother-fucking, airy-fairy Long Island Yellow Taxi Cab company! I call them at 4:20 PM, asking for a 5:00 pick-up so I can make the 5:23 train. That's 20 minutes notice for the pick-up, and it only takes them 5-10 minutes to get to the Shoprite. 5:00 comes and goes. 5:10 comes and goes. 5:20 comes and finally a taxi pulls up to the store. A guy gets out and rushes in, I stare confusedly at the cab wondering if it's my pick-up. Finally I ask the driver - he says no, he's just waiting for the guy who went in to come back out. I explain the situation - he says "they forgot about you, so get in", or something to that effect. So I miss the 5:23 train completely and have to wait for the 6:35. Why isn't there a 6 train? Your guess is as good as mine.

I get paid next Friday, though ^_^ And tomorrow's Banana Cream Pie day!
