Like today, for instance. I just finished taking my two AP tests on Thursday and Friday, so what do I want to do today? Sleep, of course. And what do I have to do? Get up at 8:30 in the morning to get to school by 10:00. From there the all day rehearsal of Look Homeward Angel begins. Not much cause for celebration there - for the first half of the day no costumes were used (which is what I'm in charge of), so I got to spend it doing alterations. Finally lunch rolls around, and we (Beenash and I) find out only after the actors come back from getting their food. So rather than having a full hour, the two of us get from about 1:40 on to get our food and eat so we can start again at 2:30. Of course we wound up starting late anyway, and having our time pushed back from 5:00 PM 'till 6:00, but hey. It's the usual. And Idalmi never came in, so Beenash and I were on our own, having whining actors come up to us with problems that neither of us are responsible for.
This show had better be worth it - so far it looks really boring. And I still have to work on my portfolio. It's due June 4th. Seems like a long time, right? Well mention the fact that I have to compile everything I've done from last year *and* this year, and it doesn't seem so long to me. Argh. I really have no life - I'm not even gonna get to go to lunch anymore, 'cause that's the only time I have to work on the portfolio.
