Yesterday, Elaine, Dante and myself did embark on a trip to Mitsuwa in Chicago.
The trip is about 3 and a half to four hours depending on stops made and traffic. We left shortly after 9 in the morning, and arrived shortly before 1 in the afternoon. I adore Mitsuwa. The Sanseido bookstore is small, but it's got all the books I'm ever going to need, 'cause, you know, I can't actually read much. Then the grocery store. I was able to stock up on melon pan from the bakery and pocari sweat. If I actually cooked I'd have just gone through and bought a million fresh ingredients.
But the best part is the food court. Because they actually make food, and gave me OKONOMIYAKI. It'd been three months since I'd last had okonomiyaki. The only bad part about Mitsuwa is the array of food that I can't eat because we're only there for a few hours of the day.
Today has been lazy day. I wrote my basic action for Murder in Green Meadows, but I haven't actually written the rest of the paper that's supposed to go with it. Luckily my other classes don't assign real homework, so I've only got that paper to worry about.
