1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1. What aspect of your varied heritage is most important to you, if you can name one? How do they affect you as a whole?
Indeed, can I name one? I'd like to say it's my mixed background of UK-ness, because that would be a treat, but few people care if you're a hybrid of Caucasian. The two aspects that come up most often are my Jewish heritage and my heritage as a born-and-bred New Yorker. Being Jewish has probably affected my personality in terms of my sense of humour and sarcasm - both of which have nearly cost me friends. But being a New Yorker is the more important because in so many ways New York is the only part of being an American that I can stand. I think being a born-and-bred New Yorker has made me a bit snobbish about certain things, and quite possibly has given me an exaggerated idea of my self-importance. (Did that make any sense?)

2. Would you ever like to live in Japan for an extended period of time?
Yes, I would. I'd have to brush up on my Japanese, but I would love to live there for a while.

3. Do you still have culinary aspirations? If so, what do you plan to do in the field? (This is code for: will you one day open a tea house and let me eat for free? :D) What other careers are you considering?
Not to make a career out of it, no, I don't think so. Sorry, no tea house ;) I certainly intend, however, to continue baking - so you'll always be welcome to eat for free at my house. The other careers I'm considering are costuming or general theatre tech. It's either that or I'll live to be a jack-of-all-trades and only ever do random bits of independent work.

4. Is London awesome and would you ever want to live there?
London is completely and totally awesome and I'd kill to live here. I'd have to devote at least two months to living in New York, but I'll figure out a way to make it work.

5. And if you answered yes to 3 and maybe 4, are you on board with our cabaret/teahouse/brothel idea? It's going to be totally sweet.
