I found the Sherlock Holmes Museum today. I did not realize you could take pictures, and so have only this meagre offering. (Yes, by the way, I am sitting in Sherlock Holmes's chair.) I also think I may have gotten in free, quite accidentally as you are supposed to pay, and without anybody realizing it.

[edit] Quick thing to say that there should have been five pictures in the gallery, because I did take one of the entry stairs as I left, so I've added that one. [/edit]

I did the same thing yesterday! Only instead of not paying to get into the Sherlock Holmes Museum, I didn't pay to get on a bus. It said not in service, but the guy still waved us on. And he kept waving. I had my card out, but he was waving so...I didn't put it in the little slot and just kept walking. Then I realized everyone else was paying. But he didn't call me on it. Maybe he was so tired that he didn't notice?

I KNOW! I couldn't believe it! I was maybe a foot away from his violin; his whole table! I'm going to go back at some point and try for better pictures. The post-card I bought you also has the violin in the picture, but it's fairly far away. (And my note is all silliness.)

Hehe. I wish I could get away with not paying for transport around here (so expensive O_O). I was surprised that I didn't get called out on it, as well, because you have to go into the entrance hallway through the museum shop, and there's a guy sitting right. He didn't even ask if I had one.

Gah! The violin! The violin is there! I'm sitting like, a foot away from it! The violin! *dies*
