I despise Japan's aversion to using their goddamned air conditioning. It's 35 degrees, I was dragged out for their retarded closing ceremony - for summer vacation, mind you - and I can't leave until four-goddamned-thirty, while having no actual work to do so my being here is entirely bloody pointless. At least let me suffer in some kind of comfort instead of sticking to my sad excuse for a desk chair.

Why no, I'm not in a good mood right now. Rawr. :/

I have a habit of pulling the trigger too quickly, you may have noticed. Not five minutes after posting, my principal decided to be Mr. McSUPERAWESOME and told me that I could leave if I so desired. Desire I did, and Ms. Tasaki actually drove me to the train station so I could make the 3:03 home. I had a delicious cold shower and have been sitting in the air conditioning ever since.

If it makes you feel any better, the weather is just as humid here. XD And my mom hates using the air conditioner, so!

Also, just found out what my schedule is going to be for the three-day orientation in Tokyo -- it looks like I'll have panels to attend from the morning to about seven (at least on the 26th and 27th), so if you're free after that time on either one of those days, it'd be great to meet up! (I know that a lot of people just skip the panels later on, but idk if doing so would leave me in dire straits or not, so I'll try not to risk it.)

I think both the 26th and the 27th are free for me. If I leave in the afternoon I should arrive perfectly on time for dinner. XD Let me know which day is better and I'll see about getting on the train.

Question! Would the 25th work for you as well? That's the day we'll be getting to the Keio Plaza Hotel, and I realized they have nothing set up for us that evening.

The 25th might work. the only problem is, getting to Tokyo from here is quite a pain in the ass. To get back here, I'd have to get a 9:38 out of Ueno, no later. Do you know what time you'd be set up by?

Argh, sorry about that -- I'm at the hotel right now, and didn't realize you replied to my earlier comment because LJ never sent me the notification. *fumes* Is tomorrow (the 26th) at 7 still fine? If you could meet me at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, I'd really appreciate that, since I am unfortunately horrible with directions. Just let me know, and if you can, I'll wait there for you. :)

Hey, I hope your panels and seminars went well. I'm sorry today was no good. I got a sudden call from school and wound up giving them volunteer time. maybe in January, over the New Year's break, we could get together? I would love an excuse to go back to Kobe.
